Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is an Filipino American model, TV host and comic. The patient became septic and suffered several organ failures, including her kidneys, which failed to fully recover. The new standard was hemodialyses and peritoneal-dialysis. For the eighteen days she was in the hospital, her life changed forever. After nearly a year and half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the biggest surgery of her life-her kidney transplant. It was her mother who donated her kidney. Angelica and her mother had the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on 13 September 2013. The surgery was performed at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals that are located next to each other. Angelica Hale's dream to be a superstar has never wavered.
